My mother, Ricie Eubanks, was in Jacksonville, Florida for approx. 10-months for medical treatment at Mayo Clinic Hospital and Brooks Rehab Hospital in 2022. Our family would not have been able to make those biweekly roadtrips to be with her without the donations y’all made for Mom. We cannot thank y’all enough for that! Mom was back in those hospitals in Florida during March & April 2024. There is talk of a major spine reconstruction surgery in the future so Mom can walk again one day. There are still travels to Jacksonville where she has regular follow up appointments and continued tests at Mayo Clinic with her specialty doctors (neurology, infectious disease, and neurosurgery). Of course there are the travel expenses of gas and hotels. At home, Mom has lots of medicine and various medical supplies to stay stocked up on since she uses them quite frequently. And on top of all of that, medical insurance is not cheap, especially when you're on a fixed income! So if you still feel compelled to donate to her, it helps her tremendously. But more than this, we ask that you PLEASE KEEP ON PRAYING for Mom! We praise God for what all He has done for her. It is so evident how He has helped her. But there’s still a lot that we are praying for God to bring to pass. Mom still needs to relearn how to walk, and be able to take of herself again. She needs her balance to be restored. She needs for the pain to go away and her spine to be healed. We need The Lord to protect her brain and her shunt. We need God to keep on strengthening her, to completely defeat the infections and keep her infection-free, to grant her good test results, to shield her from all sickness & harm, and to keep all illness away from her. We pray for all of the methods and efforts of the doctors & medical teams to be blessed and successful. We need The Lord to keep on helping Mom and getting her better, to get her back to helping and serving others, to get her back to playing all of her musical instruments, for God to give her a full recovery, for Him to get her well and keep her well……. So please keep on praying for The Lord to restore Mom’s health and life for His glory. Thank y’all for standing by us through all of this! We thank God for y’all.
