“There’s no place like home!”
We are home, and we are ready to pick with you! Please join us tomorrow (May 13th) at 6:00 P.M. for some “Monday Music on The Patio.”
We are so thankful to be home, and we are praising The Lord that Mom is doing better. Your prayers are working, so please keep them going.
After coming through March and April in the hospitals in Florida, this month of May finds me quoting Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”… “There’s no place like home!”
Speaking of “The Wizard of Oz,” on this date in the year 2000, I had my first paying gig as the bass player in the pit orchestra for The Augusta Players’ production of “The Wizard of Oz” at The Imperial Theater in Downtown Augusta, GA. Mom sat down in the pit with me and turned my sheet music for me because I was nervous about having to juggle that, counting rhythm, keeping my place, holding the bow, being a 12-year-old, and doing something I had never done before. We never would have thought then that Mom would go on to play that very same bass for The Family Fold. We didn’t know that there would even be a Family Fold. Our world was classical music back then… What fun and blessings from The Lord we have had through the years!
And we look forward to having more music and fun with you tomorrow evening. You are a blessing to us. Thanks again for all of your love & prayers!

Since we have a little “Wizard of Oz” theme going on, we thought we’d cap off this update with “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.” Hope you enjoy!
